How can I create a footer menu and link it to a static page or an external link?
There are three footer columns that you can create menus in.
- You can edit the already created menu options from Menus > Existing menu options or go to Menus > New menu to create a new one.
- Linking to an external address – To link a footer menu to link any external URL, keep the From system page turned off and add the URL in the respective field.
- Linking to a site post – To link a menu item to a static page from the site, turn on the From system page and select the created post from the Page drop-down.
- Choosing footer column – You can place the menu option under one of the three available footer columns. Use the Section option to do this.
- Setting menu sequence – You can change the order of appearance of the menu options created by giving them a sequence number in the Ordering option highlighted below.
